A stroll along the ‘Moorwald Experience Trail’ in Bad Leonfelden informs parents and children about fascinating aspects of the Moorwald. An informative treat awaits, particularly for children and nature lovers who want to get closer to the habitats of forest and moor in a light-hearted and experience-rich way.
The Moorwald Experience Trail was distinguished with the
2003 Environment Award for Upper Austria. 

The starting points for the walk are the Vital & Kurhotel
or the car park just south of the open-air swimming pool
„Aqua Leone".

Wooden squirrels are amusing and pertinent markers
along the route.

It takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to walk the 4 km long trail.
